Building Material 

We are happy to partner with Macker Co, our prime sourcing agency to procure quality building material, equipment and artisanal home decors. Macker Co works with numerous interior studios, innovative product designers and material engineers. Some of them are precise-cut facade hardwares, unique windows system, Solar Panels, interlocking bricks, trembesi tables, teak kitchen cabinets, rattan compartments. 

Our building materials are categorized into two sources: natural and manmade. Materials such as stone and wood are natural, and concrete, masonry, and steel are manmade, both are prepared or treated before they’re used in projects. 

On site, we wash sand we received from local vendors; getting rid of impurities, and grade them based on concrete mix which makes it easier for us to work with and faster to cure. 

Steel is a metal alloy of iron and carbon and often other alloying material in its composition to make it stronger and more fracture-resistant than iron. Stainless steels resist corrosion and oxidation because of the additional chromium in their make-up. Because it is so strong compared to its weight and size, structural engineers use it for the structural framework of tall modern buildings and large industrial facilities. Steel is less time-consuming to install than concrete.

Concrete is a composite material made of fine and coarse aggregate (sand, gravel, crushed stone, recycled concrete, and geosynthetic aggregates) bound together by a liquid binder such as cement that hardens or cures over time. Popular Portland cement is the most common type of cement, and is a fine powder, produced by heating limestone and clay materials in a kiln and adding gypsum. Strength varies depending on the mix.  We're taking special care in designing mix of High Performance Concrete 50+ MPA, to ensure longevity of main structural beams and foundation. 

Wood in larger sizes is usually referred to as timber or beams and is used to construct the frames of large structures. Although it is readily available and very economical natural resource, we strive to use less of them, instead lightweight coated steel. 

Masonry construction uses BRIX, a lego-shaped interlocking brick. We used recycled material from debris, overburden, sand-stone-clay granulates and compacted them with in-house polymer additives. That way, we could expand their tensile strength even exceeding the gold standard of SNI. Cuts down mortar use, faster to apply, better quality. Makes economic sense.

Stone. The ubiquitous and that's been here for thousands of years.  In fact, heritage building and ancient temples are built of andesite stone. Recently, Granite is popular as they are the most durable products available locally.
